The river

After yesterday's success, I thought I'd try taking Roxie out for a lunchtime walk to the river in Henley. She was a little wary of the cars, and not at all sure that rivers are a good idea ;-) When we got there, she stopped dead and didn't want to go near it, so I moved her closer and sat on the steps down to the river for a little while and fed her slices of sausage. She didn't actually pull away, but she was quite keen to leave as soon as I got up.

She was getting a bit tired on the way back: it's probably time to start building up her strength and stamina now.
